ABB #1502 came from Conrail where it was number 9602. Before that it was Indianapolis Union Railway # 24.

Under AB, 1502 was repainted to a Rio Grand black/orange scheme in the Winter of 2001. She still keeps the road number of 1502 but is without her nickname.
